Privacy and terms
We collect nothing on the website. The tool we use to read our channel statistics works only on our own accounts. Details below.
Who handles the data
- Senza Freni is a project by Pierfrancesco Santin and Davide Gottardis: the two of us decide how the data described on this page is used. For questions, complaints or to have data deleted, write to info@senzafreni.cc.
- You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete data about you, and you can complain to the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). We process data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running the website and managing our channels (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); emails, to reply to you.
The website
- No cookies, no JavaScript, no analytics. The pages store nothing on your device and call no other sites: fonts and images are inside the page.
- The latest episode’s video comes from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) only when you press play. From then on YouTube receives your IP address and may store data on your device, under Google’s rules.
- The Instagram posts are images stored here. Instagram opens only if you click one.
- Event sign-up forms are Google Forms and load only on the sign-up page, if you choose to open it. What you write comes to us, on Google’s servers, and we use it only to organise the event.
- Like any web server, the server hosting this site receives the IP address and technical details of each request: page, date and time, browser. They keep the site running and protected; we don’t use them for analytics or to find out who you are.
- If you email us, we use your address only to reply.
The Senza Freni canali tool
- Senza Freni canali is our internal statistics tool: it tells us how our episodes do on YouTube and our posts on Instagram, so we can choose the next ones better. It is not a public service: only we use it, on our own accounts.
- It uses the YouTube API Services (YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API) read-only, and Meta’s Instagram Platform.
- It reads only the YouTube channel @senza-freni and the Instagram account @senzafreni.cc, with the authorisation we give it: channel data, videos and posts, statistics (views, watch time, interactions) and the public comments on our content, with their authors’ names.
- The data stays on our work computer. Statistics are kept as long as we need them to compare episodes over time, and at least every 30 days we check that the authorisation is still valid. Comments are deleted after 30 days at most. Only summary numbers per episode and per post go into our private archives.
- Only the two of us see the data. To read and summarise it we also use Claude, Anthropic’s AI assistant.
- We don’t sell or share the data with anyone and we don’t use it for advertising. The tool shows no ads or third-party content and uses no cookies.
- Access can be revoked at any time: for Google from the Third-party connections page of your Google Account, for Instagram from the account settings, under connected apps. After a revocation we delete the data obtained under that authorisation within 7 days.
- To have data about you deleted, for example one of your comments, write to info@senzafreni.cc: we delete it within 7 days. Deleting it from our tool does not remove it from YouTube or Instagram: there it is deleted from their own apps.
- The Google Privacy Policy and the Instagram Privacy Policy also apply.
Senza Freni canali’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Terms of use of Senza Freni canali
- Senza Freni canali is an internal tool for Senza Freni’s own accounts only: it is not sold or offered to others.
- By using Senza Freni canali you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
- Today the tool only reads: it doesn’t publish, comment or change anything on the channels. If that ever changes, this page will change first and we will ask for authorisation again.
- It is provided as is: the official numbers are YouTube’s and Instagram’s.
- This page may change: the date at the bottom says when it was last updated.
